Generally, open figures are worth 35% to 50% of the mint in package price. The value of open pieces depends greatly on the popularity, scarcity, and supply of the figure on the open market. Earlier scarce pieces are generally worth more, as the supply of figures has dried up. |

All of the Hossa figures, both regular and chase were produced with mispainted left arms. There were only a handful or corrected versions available, so the error version is not valuable. |

A chase or repaint is an intentional, such as changing the jersey color of the player.
A variant or variation is something that wasn't supposed to happen, such as missing parts, incorrect packaging or
mispainted figures. An example of this is NFL 2 figures without grass/dirt stains on the jersey. |
