F.A.Q.

Where can I find new Sports Picks figures?
Sports Picks figures are carried by most major retailers, including Wal-Mart, Target and Toys R Us. You can also find figures from many online retailers.

I would like to purchase figures from Collectors Network. How do I order?
Sorry, we do not sell figures to collectors. Prices listed on this site are for informational purpose only, and are not offers to buy or sell.

Will Collectors Network purchase items from me?
Sorry, we do not purchase figures from collectors. We cannot help individual collectors sell their figures. We recommend collectors use the Exchange or Auctions to sell your figures.

Can you tell me where to buy past Sports Picks issues?
We recommend looking to the following places. Newsgroups, such as alt.collecting.sport-figures, auction sites, and searching for dealers through Yahoo! or Google.

Does McFarlane sell figures directly to collectors?
McFarlane does make certain figures available via their web site for pre-order, along with certain "warehouse finds." Also, McFarlane does occasionally make special figures available on their web site http://www.spawn.com.

How much are my open figures worth?
Generally, open figures are worth 35% to 50% of the mint in package price. The value of open pieces depends greatly on the popularity, scarcity, and supply of the figure on the open market. Earlier scarce pieces are generally worth more, as the supply of figures has dried up.

I have a Marian Hossa with an incorrect/mispainted arm. Is the rare/valuable?
All of the Hossa figures, both regular and chase were produced with mispainted left arms. There were only a handful or corrected versions available, so the error version is not valuable.

What is the difference between a repaint/chase/variant/variation figure?
A chase or repaint is an intentional, such as changing the jersey color of the player. A variant or variation is something that wasn't supposed to happen, such as missing parts, incorrect packaging or mispainted figures. An example of this is NFL 2 figures without grass/dirt stains on the jersey.
